Dufry posts strong Q1 organic sales, profits growth; Díaz cautiously upbeat
Dufry has posted a +15.7% revenue increase for the first quarter at constant exchange rates. EBITDA rose +20.7% at constant rates and by +11.6% in Swiss Francs. CEO Julián Díaz said: “We have increased our profitability although the economic environment has not yet shown signs of full recovery. China Duty Free calls for support to aid earthquake-hit Yushu

AZ Duty Free to open new diplomatic store
AZ Duty Free Shops, which operates the Astara Duty Free border store between Azerbaijan and Iran, is set to open a new diplomatic store in the centre of Baku, Azerbaijan’s capital, in July. Strong retail performance buoys Aéroports de Paris in first quarter
A strong performance from retail and commercial activities buoyed Paris airports group Aéroports de Paris in the first quarter of 2010. The Retail & Services division posted revenue growth of +5.3% to €230.4 million, while retail revenue alone grew by +8.9% to €91.6 million.
