Nordic Travel Retail Seminar takes shape; strong marketing focus for 2008 event – 14/03/08

SCANDINAVIA. The speaker line-up for the annual Nordic Travel Retail Seminar, which takes place on 22/23 May, was revealed today – and it carries a strong marketing focus.

The event is themed ‘Travel Retail as a Marketing Window’. It is organised by the Nordic Travel Retail Group and takes place on board a Tallink Silja Line cruise ferry sailing between Stockholm and Tallinn.

Speakers include Kraft Food World Travel Retail Regional Director EUAM Roger Winnewisser and Area Manager Nordic Tom Rinne; British American Tobacco Marketing Strategy Manager Global Travel Retail Darren Eaton; Hugo Boss International Travel Retail Sales Senior Manager Georg Faisst and Irish Distillers Regional Managers Global Travel Retail Michael Cunningham and Niall Gately.

Former Danish Minister for Foreign Affairs Uffe Ellemann-Jensen will give the keynote address on European integration and business management in the Baltic States.
