UK. Onboard Retail Solutions has announced the appointment of Deborah Collin as Head of Delivery.
Collin’s responsibilities will include managing the delivery team to ensure that projects are delivered to customers on time. She will also ensure that implementations achieve the required business benefits. She will be based at Onboard’s head office in Bristol.
Collin brings over 20 years of travel industry experience to the company, having specialised in business and IT management for tour operations, airline and rail. She joins the company from National Express East Coast where she managed the implementation of onboard retail systems on 46 trains.
Before that Collin spent eight years at First Choice, two of those as Head of IT for First Choice Airways, during which time she implemented OnBoard POS on aircraft. She is an experienced project manager and has managed many large hardware and software projects over multiple sites, Onboard said.
Collin commented: “I am delighted to be joining the team and, as a previous customer, am confident of bringing valuable insight from ‘the other side of the fence’. This is an exciting time for the industry, where the focus is clearly and firmly on increasing onboard revenue – an objective that Onboard Retail Solutions is ideally placed to help its customers achieve.”
