The flagship Tiffany store on Fifth Avenue in New York

UK. BAA has pulled off a huge coup with the signing of legendary US jewellery brand Tiffany & Co as one of its flagship luxury goods stores in London Heathrow Terminal Five, opening in March 2008.
The new store will be the only Tiffany & Co airport boutique in Europe, and only the second such airport shop in the world.
The boutique design will reflect the 170-year Tiffany & Co heritage and feature architectural details of the famous New York flagship store, said BAA.
Pride of place will be an exhibition of fine jewellery from the archives, highlighting the craftsmanship and quality of materials for which Tiffany is renowned.
Nick Ziebland, BAA's Retail Director for Terminal Five, said: “We are really excited to be working with Tiffany & Co. It is an iconic brand, coveted throughout the world. I can’t wait to see the store open.”
He added: “Tiffany delights everyone who visits, however much they have to spend. Once again, as with the signing of Gordon Ramsay among others, T5 is clearly creating an experience that goes way beyond traditional airport retailing.”
