NETHERLANDS. Dufri International has introduced the new Sony Bloggie camera to its broad portfolio of consumer technology products.
The Bloggie MHS-PM5, which features embedded PMB Portable software, delivers 5 megapixel still photos. By pressing another button, the user can capture Full HD MP4 video.
Available from February 2010, the new mobile HD Snap camera is described as light and easy to carry.
The PM5/PM5K can record both 1280x720/60p video and high-resolution Full HD 1920x1080/30p clips. On-board SteadyShot image stabilisation (available with 720/30p shooting mode only) cuts camera shake when you are shooting handheld, and Face Detection fine-tunes camera settings for clear portraits.
Styled in a choice of four colour finishes, the PM5/PM5K features a rotating lens that swivels 270 degrees to capture shots from any angle.
The bright, high-resolution 6.0cm LCD screen shows camera settings in the bottom half of the display while you are shooting. When you want to see the results, the Bloggie can be turned horizontally to see the clips and photos in screen-filling landscape format.
The PM5K also includes a special 360 Video lens adaptor that lets the user experience panoramic videos. By putting on the adaptor, you can shoot in 360 Video mode, without needing to make any other adjustments.
Bloggie captures panoramic video as encoded files that can be 'unwrapped’ for PC viewing using supplied PMB software and 360 Video Player application.
