INTERNATIONAL. In ‘race 2’ of The Moodie Report’s special readers’ competition to celebrate Johnnie Walker Black Label’s 100th anniversary, our geographic focus moves to Turkey – and the Petrol Ofisi Turkish Grand Prix at Istanbul Park.

Once again we are delighted to join forces with Diageo Global Travel & Middle East (GTME) to offer our readers the chance to win exclusive half-scale hand-signed replica Lewis Hamilton and Heikki Kovalainen racing helmets.

Johnnie Walker is closely linked to Formula 1 through its sponsorship of the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes team.

A winning formula: Readers can join in the celebrations by winning a half-scale, hand-signed replica helmet set
As reported, Diageo GTME has embarked on a major Black Label promotional programme this year to drive in-store awareness, footfall and conversion, dubbed ‘100 Years of Progress’.

To underpin that campaign, The Moodie Report is hosting a readers’ competition to coincide with each of the remaining races on the F1 circuit. Each race winner will receive a half-scale signed replica Lewis Hamilton and Heikki Kovalainen racing helmet set as detailed earlier.

Race 2 is the Petrol Ofisi Turkish Grand Prix to be held at Istanbul Park on Sunday 7 June.

To be in with a chance of winning the signed helmet set, you must answer the following questions:

1. What age statement does Johnnie Walker Black Label carry?
2. Which is the well-known German travel retailer that holds a major interest in the duty free operation at Istanbul Atatürk Airport.
3. Who will win the Turkish Grand Prix?

In the event of a tie, a Diageo GTME executive will draw the winner out of a hat. Answers, headed 'Johnnie Walker 100 Years', must be sent to by midnight GMT on 6 June. [Note: Please state your company as the competition is open only to those directly connected with the travel retail industry and not to the general public].

In our first competition we had no fewer than 13 entrants get all three questions right, including the race winner – British star Jenson Button.

As a result Diageo conducted a blind draw and the winner was:

Rodolfo J. Nodal
Distribution Center Manager
North America & Caribbean
10300 NW 19 Street Suite 114

Diageo will be in touch with Rodolfo to deliver this great prize.
