L’Oréal Luxe – Travel Retail Worldwide's new Travel Retail Deputy General Manager Uwe Seyfried
INTERNATIONAL. L’Oréal Luxe – Travel Retail Worldwide has named Uwe Seyfried as Travel Retail Deputy General Manager in charge of retail development, effective since January.

This new position was created to achieve several objectives: the development and cross fertilisation of L’Oréal Luxe’s retail practices around the world, the coordination of strategic commercial partnerships with key clients, the identification and implementation of growth levers, the acceleration of the company’s retail excellence, and the establishment of business intelligence.

L’Oréal Luxe said that Seyfried has played a key role in the development of its brands and organisations throughout his career. “His international experience at L’Oréal Luxe, the variety of his former positions and responsibilities, together with his natural charismatic empathy will give him the best assets to embrace this new mission of Deputy General Manager in Travel Retail Worldwide,” the company stated.

Seyfried started his career 20 years ago in the marketing department of the German L’Oréal Luxe subsidiary, after which he joined the international marketing team of Lancôme in Paris. His marketing background was further boosted by his experience as Area Manager for L’Oréal Luxe Travel Retail Europe, Middle-East & Africa.

Upon returning to Germany, Seyfried fulfilled a variety of broad-ranging and complementary positions starting as Marketing Director, and then moving forward as General Manager of different business units. He then took over the General Manager function of the Luxury Division for the Netherlands, before becoming General Manager of L'Oréal Luxe Benelux in 2009 – his last position before his new role.
