Setting the scene: Roja Dove welcomes WDF sales staff at Gatwick
|
UK. WDF is extending its exclusive fragrance training sessions for store staff, conducted by the world’s only Professeur de Parfums, Roja Dove.
The first series of workshops took place in January at Gatwick -
attended by The Moodie Report - as well as at Heathrow and Manchester. Three additional sessions have been added - building on the programme's initial success and positive feedback from staff, said WDF.

One of these extra sessions took place in Glasgow on 17 March and two further sessions, one at Heathrow and one at Gatwick, will take place during April.
During the first phase of training sessions, Roja Dove invited WDF staff - via an interactive forum - to explore fragrance personalities and new scents, developing their skills to more expertly and confidently advise customers.
A key objective of the training sessions was to explain the
www.discoverfragrance.co.uk website to WDF staff, which was rolled out in February. The site's content was created exclusively for WDF, and aims to help passengers evaluate pre-flight what fragrance they should be buying at the airport in order to match their destination, whether travelling for business, leisure or a romantic break.
“Whether a customer is buying for themselves, or as a gift for a loved one, travelling for business, romance or simply pleasure, staff left the workshop with a skill set which enabled them to identify the right fragrance for a customer’s needs,” WDF said of the sessions.
WDF Head of Category for Beauty Debbie Ansell commented: “We are delighted at the extremely positive feedback we have received from our staff who have attended Roja’s training sessions. Since their introduction we have been inundated with staff requesting the opportunity to take part.”
“Roja Dove’s training sessions really are a once-in-a-lifetime experience, so being able to accommodate more staff now will add further depth and expertise to our in-store fragrance skills and service,” Ansell added.
