Consumers, including non-travellers, can purchase their ‘Big Ticket’ online at www.addf.ae

UAE. Abu Dhabi Duty Free has announced that, to commemorate the 15th anniversary of its monthly prize raffle draw, the number of prizes available in the ‘Big Ticket’ promotion will be extended from 10 to 15 – offering consumers a +50% increase in chances of winning.

Tickets are available online (www.addf.ae) to travellers and non-travellers. They are also sold at all landside and airside Abu Dhabi Duty Free locations, including the City Terminal in Abu Dhabi city centre, Al Ain International Airport, and the Ghweifat land border store between the UAE and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The ‘Big Ticket’ offers a total prize fund of AED1,500,000 (currently US$408,000) with the first prize winner scooping the grand prize of AED1,000,000 (US$272,000).

“We are delighted to have reached such a milestone in what has been a cornerstone of Abu Dhabi Duty Free’s offering and a key contributor to our overall success story over the years,” said Abu Dhabi Duty Free Managing Director Mohamed Mounib, who was also recently appointed to the new role of Commercial Director of Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC).

The prize draw has become as synonymous with Abu Dhabi Duty Free as the distinctive terminal building
ADAC was launched in March 2006 as the new operator of the airports of Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates

“While the raffle’s original format of ten prizes continues to be a highly successful offering to passengers, visitors to the airport and online customers, we wanted to extend our appreciation to all participants on this anniversary occasion and give everyone a +50% better chance of winning one of the prizes,” added Mounib.

Abu Dhabi Duty Free has indicated that the additional five prizes will come into effect for tickets purchased from this April.
