AUSTRALIA. Westralia Airports Corporation, the owner of Perth Airport, is seeking proposals from concessionaires interested in providing food & beverage offerings at the International Terminal and Domestic Terminal 3.
Perth Airport is hoping to partner with well-known and established brands that represent quality and value and have a key focus on customer service. "This is an exciting opportunity for brands to grow their business in a high-traffic, fast-paced environment while developing a strong partnership with the airport," the airport operator said.
Over 2.63 million passengers travelled through the International Terminal in the 2008/09 financial year, showing solid growth of +4.2% on the previous year.
The F&B opportunity in the International Terminal will be located near passenger check-in on the ground floor, targeting departing passengers. Key features of the location include easy access for family and friends, 100% footfall on departing passengers, high dwell times in the check-in area and easy access to airport staff.
Domestic passenger numbers exceeded 7 million in the 2008/09 financial year, reflecting +6.7% growth year-on-year.

Key features include easy access for family and friends, high footfall, a convenient location in front of check-in as well as close proximity to the taxi rank and shuttle bus services.
