AUSTRALIA. Sunglass Hut is to open a new store in Sydney Airport’s new-look International Terminal (T1), currently the subject of a major revamp.

Sunglass Hut, owned by Italian eyewear giant Luxottica Group, is a global leader in fashionable eyewear retailing. It has over 2,000 stores operating within Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, South Africa, North America and Europe.

The new store will offer a wide range of renowned brands such as Bvlgari, Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, Versace, Burberry, Ralph Lauren, D&G, DKNY, Vogue, Ralph, Ray-Ban, Oakley, Arnette, Polo, Persol and Revo.

Sunglass Hut stores are traditionally located in high-traffic shopping and tourist locations. Those include airports, a retail channel in which the company already enjoys a strong presence. Sydney Airport is part of the company’s remit to target top international airports.
