Emirates Airline and Montblanc in major inflight retail promotion

The Emirates–Montblanc promotion features on the cover of the airline's latest inflight duty free brochure
UAE. Emirates Airline and Montblanc have jointly launched a major inflight retail promotion, offering passengers the opportunity to become the ‘Emirates A380 VIP’.

During the promotional period, which runs from January to June, any passenger who purchases a Montblanc Starwalker A380 fineliner writing instrument onboard can enter a free draw to win a limited-edition Montblanc Skeleton A380 pen.

This is crafted from 18ct solid white gold and platinum-plated fittings, with 16 diamonds on the cap ring and a further 12 on the cone and crown. The Montblanc Skeleton A380 carries a price tag of €15,000.

The winner and a companion will be flown First Class by Emirates to Hamburg and will visit the House of Montblanc to see the finishing touches put to the limited-edition pen, including the addition of the Emirates logo. The winner will also visit the Airbus factory to see an Emirates A380 being fitted out.

Emirates and Montblanc have partnered in many big inflight initiatives over recent years. Among them was a unique onboard charity auction for a Montblanc centennial automatic chronograph watch, with proceeds going to a charity supporting children in need.

Emirates is also enjoying a strong year for inflight sales. In the financial year to date turnover has risen by +18% year-on-year.
