New consultancy aims to tap into airport advertising market

INTERNATIONAL. A new international advertising consultancy has been established, named Passport Media International, which is exclusively dedicated to the airport and international transport industry.

The company has been formed by Lee Lawrence and Jonathan Goldsmid-Whyte who between them have over 25 years experience in the airport advertising industry.

Lawrence spent over 13 years with JCDecaux Airport (previously known as Sky Sites) as Sales Director and subsequently went on to launch Terminus Media and independent media sales agency Silver Voyage Media. Goldsmid-Whyte was CEO of Aviator, WPP’s specialist global airport media planning and buying agency, until the end of last year.

Passport Media International said it “aims to empower airports and their media owners with the knowledge and skills required to maximise revenues and profitability from commercial advertising, an increasingly important sector of non-aeronautical revenue development.”

Lee Lawrence said: “The airport advertising industry is evolving faster than at any time during its history.
