Bahrain Duty Free reveals car raffle winner – 29/04/09

BAHRAIN. Bahrain Duty Free has announced the latest winner of its popular Win & Choose car raffle.

The draw, which took place recently in the Departures area at Bahrain International Airport, was won by Ragnu Iyengar from the US. He could choose from four prize options, each including a new Mercedes-Benz car. Only 1,000 tickets were available for the draw, priced at BHD50 (US$133) each.

“This is the latest promotional campaign organised by the company, which is unique in duty free,” said Bahrain Duty Free Head of HR & Marketing Adel Redha.

“We are committed to seeking lasting satisfaction among our customers travelling through Bahrain International Airport, and we are happy to provide them with products and offers for their tastes and beyond their expectations. We will continue to launch such outstanding offers in future,” Redha added.

After the draw the company launched the next round of the Win & Choose promotion, which features a new format and more cash prizes.

Travellers can obtain tickets at the airport for a chance to win any one of four prize options:

-Option A: Mercedes S350L
-Option B: Mercedes C200, B200 and US$30,000
-Option C: Mercedes E280 and US$45,000
-Option D: Mercedes GLK280 and US$40,000.
