HKIA's shopping promotion offers HK$1 million worth of gifts for customers this Christmas
HONG KONG. Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) has launched its Christmas and New Year shopping promotion, with HK$1 million (US$128,200) worth of gifts on offer.

Under the promotion, which runs from now until 6 January at all retail, entertainment and dining outlets in Terminals 1 and 2, customers will be eligible to win a range of over 50 special gifts.

For every HK$300, HK$500 or HK$2,000 spent at any HKIA shop or restaurant shoppers and diners will be rewarded with gift redemption cards. Upon presentation of these cards at a number of redemption booths at T1 and T2 buyers may then receive gift and food & beverage items from a wide selection of airport retail, dining and entertainment outlets.

The airport is giving passengers a great sense of the season through its latest promotional drive
“HKIA is committed to making every shopping, dining and entertainment experience outstanding for our local and international visitors,” said Airport Authority Hong Kong General Manager, Retail and Advertising Eva Tsang. “Christmas and New Year has always been a time of giving. Through our promotion and celebration activities this holiday season, we hope visitors would enjoy even more of their visit to our 260 speciality shops, 65 worldwide restaurants and four entertainment zones.”

During the promotion period three redemption booths are set up at
– Check-in Hall, Departures Level (Non-restricted area), T1
– East Hall, Departures Level (restricted area), T1
– Coach Station, Level 3, T2

In addition to this promotion several Christmas-themed product showcases highlighting the variety of HKIA’s retail offer will be set up at T2’s Coach Station near the redemption booth. There will also be festive performances at the redemption booths including a cappella, strings and ballet shows from December 22 to 28.
